Website Regulations and Accessibility

Accessibility Statement

As part of the accessibility adjustments we made, we made adjustments to the website, among other things, to allow all of our customers to enjoy a comfortable, pleasant, and accessible browsing experience.

This website complies with the requirements of the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Services), 2013, subject to the following reservations:

The accessibility adjustments were made according to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (TI 5568) “Guidelines for Internet Content Accessibility” at level AA and according to the guidelines of the international WCAG2.0 document.

  • The tests were tested for the highest compatibility for several browsers.
  • The website provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and support for the accepted usage pattern for operation with a keyboard using the arrow keys, Enter and Esc to exit menus and windows.
  • Adapted for display in the common browsers as stated above.
  • Adapted for the screen reader software NVDA
  • The website has an “accessibility button” that allows for font enlargement and high contrast

As mentioned, we work to optimize the accessibility of the website as part of our commitment to enable its use by the entire population, including people with disabilities. However, it is possible that parts of the site are not accessible or that there is an accessibility problem.

If you encounter any problem regarding accessibility while browsing our website, we would be happy to receive comments, clarifications and requests by contacting the site administrator by e-mail at info@tachlith.org.il

In order to allow us to handle the problem in the best way possible, we ask that you attach full details about the problem to your inquiry, as much as possible:

  • Problem description
  • Link to the page you browsed
  • What action did you try to perform?
  • Browser type and version (Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.)
  • Operating system type (WIN 10, WIN XP)
  • Type of assistive technology (NVDA, JAWS)

The institute will make an effort to make the site as accessible as possible and to respond to inquiries in the most professional and fastest way.
