Yaniv Cohen is the Founder and Head of the Tachlith Institute for Israeli Public Policy. Prior to establishing Tachlith, he served for approximately four-and-a-half years as CEO of the Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy at Reichman University in Herzliya, and before that as Head of Business Development at the America-Israel Friendship League in New York. Between 2009-2015, Yaniv worked as a senior attorney in international commercial law, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, at Naschitz Brandes Amir & Co. law firm.
Yaniv is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Global Executive program, holds a Master’s degree (MBA) in International Business Administration, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree (LLB/BA) in Law and Government from Reichman University.
Yaniv serves as a Lieutenant Colonel (Reserves), and previously served for several years in an operational command position in the Prime Minister’s Office.
In addition to his role at Tachlith, he serves as a board member of a technology company and two civil society organizations in Israel, as well as a member of the General Assembly of Reichman University.
Yaniv is married to Shlomit, a hi-tech entrepreneur and CEO, and is father to Nitai, Yaheli, and Yuval.
