Emmanuelle Hirschfeld Trachtingot

Research Associate

Emmanuelle Hirschfeld Trachtingot is a Research Associate at the Tachlith Institute.

Emmanuelle is a licensed attorney and holds an LL.B. in Law, graduating with highest honors from Bar-Ilan University.
She completed her legal internship in the Criminal Division of the Office of the Attorney General, and prior to joining the Tachlith Institute, worked for two years at the State Commission of Inquiry into the Mount Meron Disaster.

During her studies, Emmanuelle served as a research assistant in various fields, including public law, constitutional law, and international law, and worked in the Criminal Division of the State Attorney’s Office as part of the university’s clinical program.
After two years as a member of the editorial board of the journal Democratic Culture, she was appointed as its Editor-in-Chief, where she was responsible for training and mentoring new board members.

Alongside her professional and academic activities, Emmanuelle has also been involved in a range of social initiatives. She served as a team leader at OMEK – The Institute for Policy and Legislation Design at the Bar-Ilan University branch, and volunteered at Lev BaMishpat, a nonprofit providing free legal assistance to underprivileged individuals.

In recent years, Emmanuelle has continued her academic involvement and serves as a teaching assistant in various courses in both public and private law.
